Francia Pierre, LCSW
EMDRIA Certified Therapist™
Many of the adults I work with have spent years being responsible, high functioning, and dependable for others. Over time, that pattern can lead to chronic stress, emotional exhaustion, grief that has not been processed, or a quiet sense of disconnection from yourself. Therapy offers space to make sense of those experiences and respond to them with greater awareness and choice.
- A calm, structured, and collaborative therapeutic process
- Trauma informed care that honors your pace
- A focus on nervous system regulation and emotional safety
- Practical tools combined with deeper insight work
- Therapy that supports both resilience and reflection
I offer virtual therapy for adults across Florida. All sessions are conducted online to provide accessibility and flexibility.
My style is steady, collaborative, and direct in a supportive way. I do not push you faster than your system is ready to go. Instead, I help you build understanding of patterns, emotional responses, and attachment dynamics so that change feels sustainable.
I integrate Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, trauma informed therapy, and attachment based approaches. I also draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT), strength-based therapy, parts informed work, and client centered psychotherapy. My approach is practical and relational, with attention to how your nervous system responds under stress.
I believe that healing happens when you feel safe enough to be honest about what is actually happening inside. Many people come to therapy looking for relief from anxiety, depression, or burnout. Beneath those symptoms are often deeper patterns shaped by trauma, early relationships, or long periods of stress.
My work is guided by:
- Respect for your pace and readiness
- Attention to emotional regulation and nervous system health
- A collaborative relationship where your voice matters
- A balance of practical skill building and deeper processing
- A strengths-based lens that builds self trust
Therapy is not about fixing you. It is about helping you understand yourself more clearly so you can respond differently to stress, grief, and change.
In addition to EMDR, I integrate:
- Trauma-informed care
- Attachment-based therapy
- Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Parts-informed and IFS-informed work
- Strengths-based therapy
- Collaborative, client-centered psychotherapy
Because trauma and chronic stress live in the nervous system, much of our work includes building awareness of how your body responds to triggers and learning ways to restore steadiness.
- Trauma and PTSD
- Anxiety and chronic stress
- Depression and mood shifts
- Grief and loss
- Burnout and compassion fatigue
- Life transitions and identity shifts
- Emotional regulation challenges
- Meaning making and personal growth
Early sessions focus on understanding your history, patterns, and current stressors. From there, we develop a thoughtful plan that fits your goals and readiness.
Appointments are generally available Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Evening sessions depend on scheduling availability to ensure quality and consistency of care.
